Out of School Care - See the ‘NEW’ After Skool Fit
After Skool Kool is an out-of-school care program that provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth with developmental disabilities between the ages of 13 - 19. The program strives to support the development of social skills, life skills and community access through recreational, leisure and social activities. We provide a creative and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages each person to develop to their fullest potential. Among some of After Skool Kool’s activities are community excursions, art, dance, games and visiting places like the SPCA and the Post Office.
After Skool Kool is offered Monday to Friday from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. for teens ages 13 -19. After Skool Kool provides transportation from the 3 local high schools (Elgin Park, Earl Marriot, and Semiahmoo Secondary).

After Skool Fit (out of school care with a kick!)
*This is not the same program as the After Skool Kool program, it offers pick-up and care until 5:30 but will be joining the Rec and Fitness Series in the SHS gym!
After Skool Fit is offered Monday to Thursday from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. for teens ages 13 -19. After Skool Fit provides transportation from the 3 local high schools (Elgin, Earl Marriot, and Semiahmoo Secondary).
Youth will be picked up from their schools and join the Rec & Fitness Series program from 3:15 - 4:15 in the SHS basement, followed by chill, interactive games with their peers until 5:30 p.m. Please see costs per day to see what the fitness program is! Sign up for one or all days!

District DAZE....
If you need care for your teenager on District Wide Professional Days, we are offering day camps on Pro Days for the 2011/2012 school year.
After Skool Kool will continue to run on District Wide Professional Days. Parents may choose to put their child in the regular day 9:00 - 3:00 ($39.00) and their fee for ASK ($19.50) will cover the extended day until 5:30 p.m.
These day camps will be run very similarly to our very fun and exciting SummerDAZE camps. This means fun stuff like trips to the Greater Vancouver Zoo, bowling, movie theatres, the Aquarium and Science World. Sign up for one (or all) of these day camps. Space is limited and registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Staffing Ratio: 3:1. As a fundraised program, we cannot provide a higher staffing ratio. If your child requires more staffing support, please contact the Program Manager prior to registration.

Sorry, we will not be offering District DAZE on Friday, May 4th in preparation for a large event.

Spring DAZE
Spring DAZE is a fun filled day-camp over Spring Break for teens 13 - 19. Your teen will have an exciting time going on adventurous outings around the lower mainland!
