Out of School Care -After-Skool- Kool

After Skool Kool is an out-of-school care program that provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth with developmental disabilities between the ages of 13 - 19. The program strives to support the development of social skills, life skills and community access through recreational, leisure and social activities. We provide a creative and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages each person to develop to their fullest potential. Among some of After Skool Kool’s activities are community excursions, art, dance, games and having tours of places like the police station & fire hall.

After Skool Kool is offered Monday to Friday from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. for teens ages 13 -19. After Skool Kool provides transportation from the 3 local high schools (Elgin Park, Earl Marriot, and Semiahmoo Secondary).

When: Monday - Friday (13 - 19); Monday and Wednesday only (9 - 12 may join ASK but parents provide own transportation)

After- Skool- Fit (out of school care with a kick!)

*This is not the same program as the After Skool Kool program, it offers pick-up and care until 5:30 but will be joining the Rec and Fitness Series in the SHS gym!

After Skool Fit is offered Tuesday to Thursday from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. for teens ages 13 -19.  The rato's for this program is approx 5 to 1
After Skool Fit provides transportation from the 3 local high schools (Elgin, Earl Marriot, and Semiahmoo Secondary).

Youth will be picked up from their schools and join the Rec & Fitness Series program  from 3:15 - 4:15 at the SHS Great Room.  After their workout it is their choice if they would like to relax & watch a movie, chill out and listen to music, or play games with their peers until 5:30 p.m.  Sign up for one or all days!
