Camps (School Breaks)

SummerDAZE (Summer Break), WinterDAZE (Winter Break) and HoliDAZE (Spring Break) run Monday though Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (except Holidays) for teens ages 13–19 with developmental disabilities. Teens spend the week off school venturing into the community doing exciting activities and hanging out with their peers at Semiahmoo House.

Awesome Adapted Camps (Summer) run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for participants 13 to adult. These are week-long hobby and learning-based camps such as adapted sports, scrap-booking, African Dancing, science, or transit training.

 

District Wide Pro DAZE Camp

District DAZE....
If you need care for your teenager on District Wide Professional Days, we are offering day camps on Pro Days for the 2011/2012 school year.  

After Skool Kool will continue to run on District Wide Professional Days.  Parents may choose to put their child in the regular day 9:00 - 3:00 ($39.00) and their fee for ASK ($19.50) will cover the extended day until 5:30 p.m.  

These day camps will be run very similarly to our very fun and exciting SummerDAZE camps.  This means fun stuff like trips to the Greater Vancouver Zoo, bowling, movie theatres, the Aquarium and Science World.  Sign up for one (or all) of these day camps.  Space is limited and registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For youth ages 13 - 19

 

Staffing Ratio: 3:1.  As a fundraised program, we cannot provide a higher staffing ratio.  If your child requires more staffing support, please contact the Program Manager prior to registration.

Time/Cost:

Regular Day 9:00 - 3:00 ($39 + 4.68 HST = $43.68), or Extended ASK 9:00 - 5:30 (58.50 + $7.02 = $65.52). Our After Skool Kool Teens will join the ProDAZE Camp at 3:00 p.m.

Friday: February 10

Monday: May 28

 

There will be no District Daze Friday, May 4 in preparation for a large event.

 

Spring  DAZE 

Spring DAZE is a fun filled day-camp over the winter break for teens 13 - 19.  Your teen will have an exciting time going on adventurous outings around the lower mainland!  

 

Ages:

For youth ages 13 - 19
