JOB DESCRIPTION:                       Program Coordinator 1 Job Description

 

SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Appropriate Human Services diploma or degree or combination of related education and experience.

Minimum 2 years experience supporting people with developmental disabilities

Preferred 1 year supervisory experience

Preferred experience in vocational setting

Ability to perform needs assessments & to create plans responding to those needs

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Demonstrated leadership skills, creativity, problem solving & decision making skills

Excellent English oral and written communication skills

Proficient in the use of computer including use of Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in providing behavioural supports

Crisis management training & experience

First Aid & CPR Certificate & good physical condition

Class 4 Drivers License and must have access to own vehicle for daily use

 

WAGES:         as per collective agreement wage grid
