Starting as a casual with us is a great way to get to know the organization with it’s many and various programs.
We accept resumes for casuals in the following positions:
Residential Support Workers
- supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their home and daily living activities
- involves overnights, days and evenings
- education requirements may include Community Support Worker certificate, Residential Care aide with Community Living experience, or equivalent.
Personal Development Workers
- supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their day program and activities
- education requirements may include Community Support Worker certificate.
Acquired Brain Injury Support Workers
- supporting adults with acquired brain injuries in their day program and activities
- education requirements may include Recreation Therapist, Community Support Worker or equivalent
Child Care Workers
- supporting children (toddlers & school-aged) in their day care program with pre-school curriculums.
- education requirements may include Early Childhood Educator, School Age Certificate, Recreation Certificate or equivalent.
All positions will require a criminal record search, valid first aid certificate, TB test, doctor’s clearance. Most positions require a valid class 4 driver’s license. Positions also require membership with BCGEU.
