Peninsula Child Care Society

Peninsula Child Care Centre operates Licensed Childcare Programs in South Surrey. It is operated by, and is part of, Semiahmoo House Society. We are proud of our commitment and involvement in providing a variety of programs to families in the White Rock/Surrey area.

The Child Care Centre currently offers two programs:

Group Daycare for children 30 months to 5 years

Out-of-School Care for children aged 6-12 years

We create a safe environment for children in which their total development is encouraged and supported. We meet the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of a child, both individually and in a group context. We do this by providing a play based program which allows the child full expression of self. The child experiences his or her own world through the eyes of a child. We meet the child at his or her level and guide him or her through the natural stages of growth. We support the child as an individual, as part of a family and as a member of our community.

Hours of Operation

We are open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The centre is closed on all statutory holidays.

We offer full day care on school professional days, spring break, summer vacation and Christmas holidays for school age children at an extra fee.
